BBSI Ladies Partnering Program
BBSI Ladies Partnering Program 2027 Information Coming Soon!
The BBSI Ladies Partnering Program (BBSI LPP) is for ladies interested in participating in a daily partnering class with the men at BBSI. Ladies must be age 9-20 in an intermediate to advanced ballet level. Class size is very limited. There will be a wait list.
Dancers can attend one or two weeks of BBSI.
IN-PERSON AUDITION
Instead of submitting a video, ladies can elect to take an audition class in-person. Date, time, and location TBA.
Please wear a plain black leotard and bring flat shoes and pointe shoes (if you have them) to the audition.
Dancers will be required to submit the following photos in pointe shoes: a tendu à la seconde and an arabesque en l’air en pointe (both photos must be taken in the center with no barre). Dancers with less than two years en pointe can take their photos in flat shoes.
VIDEO AUDITION
All combinations should be done en pointe in the center for dancers with a minimum of two years en pointe. Dancers with less than two years en pointe can film their combinations in flat shoes. Video footage MUST be taken no more than 3 months prior to application.
- Adage combination (show both sides)
- Échappé and Passé pointe work combination
- Turning combination (show both sides)
- Grand Allegro combination (one side)

Note: BBSI does not provide personal feedback for in-person or video auditions. We will keep auditions open until we reach maximum capacity. Dancers must re-audition each year so we can assess their progress.

Boys Ballet Summer Intensive is a proud Partner Intensive at the American Dance Competition | International Ballet Competition. We offer scholarships to BBSI at this competition. Financial aid is not available.
DRESS CODE
Dress Code is mandatory
- Black spaghetti strap leotard (cotton or microfiber, no tank leotards)
- Pink or skin-tone tights
- Ballet flat shoes
- Pointe shoes (if you have them) NO DEAD SHOES. Pointe shoes are not required to attend BBSI.
- No shorts, large hair accessories, or large earrings. (Skirts are allowed only in Variations and Repertoire)
